EDUCATION

This theme explores the role of education in shaping Muslim identity in contemporary contexts, examining how knowledge, values, and self-understanding are formed within schools, universities, faith-based institutions, and digital learning environments. It addresses Islamic pedagogy, youth development, identity negotiation in secular and multicultural settings, and the responsibilities of educators as moral and spiritual guides. Special attention is given to the impact of technology, social media, and global knowledge networks on learning and self-formation.

MORALITY

This theme focuses on ethical reasoning and moral self-construction among Muslims navigating the complexities of modern life. It examines contemporary moral challenges related to consumer culture, digital environments, social justice, and personal responsibility, while drawing on Islamic ethical and spiritual traditions. Discussions under this theme explore how individuals cultivate character, self-discipline, and moral awareness in pluralistic societies, and how faith-based values inform ethical decision-making today.

FAMILY

This theme examines the family as a central space for identity formation, moral development, and emotional well-being. It addresses changing family structures, parenting practices, marriage, gender roles, and intergenerational relationships in the context of migration, cultural diversity, and social change. The theme also explores how families transmit religious, cultural, and ethical values across generations while adapting to contemporary social realities.

SOCIAL LIFE

This theme investigates Muslim identity within broader social, civic, and cultural contexts. It explores community belonging, civic engagement, participation in public life, and the formation of identity in digital and diasporic spaces. Topics include youth culture, social networks, representation in media, faith-based organizations, and the interaction between Islam, globalization, and multicultural societies.
